Description
In addition to the main nutrients an optimum growth and development of crucifers requires trace elements. Main nutrients and trace elements have different functions. The main nutrients work as a material to build a plant matter, e.g. nitrogen and sulphur are constituents of protein and amino acids, phosphor and calcium - of phytin and magnesium - of chlorophyll. On the other hand, trace elements function as catalysts in enzymatic reactions.
