Description
Pre-sowing seed treatment with trace elements together with foliar dressing is the most effective and cost-efficient way to use microfertilizers. The seed treatment with microfertilizers containing a set of highly-efficient trace elements readily available for plants is highly significant for the plants, especially at the beginning of their growth and development. Plants need small doses of those nutrients, but the role the latter play in the plant life is paramount. They promote a better, well-balanced absorption of nutrients from the soil, enhance plant resistance to diseases, drought, low temperatures and increase the stem formation during tillering.
Seed treatment with microfertilizers performs as follows:
- increases seed sprouting and germination ability;
- enhances resistance to adverse environmental factors (exposure to low temperatures, overheating, a lack/excess of light or moisture);
- raises immunity and resistance to disease;
- promotes accumulation of protein and gluten;
- increases efficiency of macrofertilizers and promotes a better absorption of nutrients;
- improves the crop yield potential.
Trace elements entering the soil create low-soluble compounds near a seed, that is why it is recommended to use water-soluble trace elements for the seed treatment.
For a harmonious development of agricultural crops, the stage of root development and seed sprouting is very important. For those processes the intake of all essential nutrients by plants in the early period plays a huge role.
Keeping a required balance of macro-, meso- and microelements in absorbable forms in the soil is quite a challenge. It is also important to keep in mind that a lack of a single element can lead to a significant deterioration of absorption of the others.
Revitaplant Cereals for seed treatment is a perfect starting fertilizer containing a wide range of nutrients required for cereals.
